In place of our annual Singing Competition in February, we shared an online showcase of solo singing in a wide range of musical genres. A Celebration of Song consisted of three mixed recitals, allowing viewers to enjoy brand-new vocal performances from 41 of our singers in all eight year groups at Oakham School, whilst celebrating the diversity of music that our pupils enjoy.
We extend our thanks and appreciation to our singing teachers for their dedication throughout this period of online teaching. We are also hugely grateful to our pupils for rising to the challenge; it is no mean feat to film yourself singing! All three recitals are available to watch here.
