We highly recommend that you visit the School in person to get a feel for our wonderful, friendly atmosphere, and there are many ways that you can explore the School either physically or virtually.

We run a series of Open Events throughout the year, to give families an opportunity to experience Oakham. Generally held on Saturday mornings and Thursday evenings, a typical Open Event starts with coffee and an opportunity to meet with staff, including Housemasters/Housemistresses and Tutors, as well as hearing from the Headmaster and Deputy Heads. You will then be given a group tour of a House and the School.

You and your family can also book a personal visit to the School. Each visit lasts around two and a half hours, during which time you will be given a tour of the School by current pupils, as well as having the opportunity to meet a Housemaster or Housemistress and talk to a senior member of staff.
