Upper School Academic Preparation
The Upper School is an opportunity to choose subjects for which you have a real passion: these could be brand new subjects, or ones that you have already studied for some years. Here, you will find suggestions of books to read, places to visit and things to do that will whet your appetite for your chosen courses.
At the very least, every new Upper School student should spend some time over the summer exploring something from the list for each of their A-level or Higher Level IB subjects. There is no limit to what you might do, however, and your teachers will be looking forward to discussing what you have looked at when you start your courses in September.
