Congratulations to the 49 pupils who won certificates in the UKMT 2021 Intermediate Maths Challenge, including an excellent 12 Gold, 24 Silver and 20 Bronze award winners.
Form 3 pupils Steven and Carson won the ‘Best in School’ award and have also been invited to take part in the Cayley Olympiad; a competition open only to 600 applicants nationwide that consists of six problems requiring full written solutions.
Talented mathematicians Obiomu, Aashish, George and Sen (in Form 5) as well as Lucas and Edward (in Form 4), who received Gold certificates, have also qualified to sit the follow-on competition, the Pink Kangaroo (scoring 89+). Meanwhile, Andrada, Ollie, Nate, Cecilia and Emma have qualified to sit the Grey Kangaroo follow-on competition (scoring 68+).
