This week’s Lower School Athletics Relay Invitational saw strong performances by the Lower School pupils against Stamford.
Director of Athletics, Trefon Vandoros tells us more:
“The day was full of spirit and courage on the track. The event was a chance to “feel the wind”, compete and fight for the finish line. There were noticeable efforts from many athletes, and it was great to see them shake off their post-lockdown cobwebs. Although the meet was more of a ‘friendly’ than a serious competition, the points highlight the talents and the efforts of both Schools.”
The pupils are now looking forward to their next Oakham mini Athletics Invitational on Monday 10 May.
