At the end of the first half of the Spring Term, third formers and Form 6 IB Diploma Ab Initio students of Spanish were in their kitchens making Spanish tortilla (Spanish omelette).
The sessions were aimed at putting into practice the vocabulary terms they had learned and following the instructions of the recipe in Spanish.
Head of Spanish Mr Cameron Pauls said, “The lesson was a huge success and everyone agreed it should be repeated, so watch this space for more Spanish cooking, coming soon!”
These fun, practical classes help the pupils to learn useful vocabulary, verbs and instructions whilst also learning to cook and is an excellent way for pupils to practise their language skills.
