Rushebrookes pupils have raised nearly £1,500 for charity after rowing the distance between London and Paris.
The House fundraised for the DEC Turkey and Syria Earthquake Appeal, which is providing emergency support to those affected by the disaster.
The group rowed a collective 352km over two days, smashing their target of 340km. They also had help from Headmaster Henry Price and Deputy Head Co-curricular James Robinson.
Rushebrookes Housemistress Kim Robinson said: “I was so impressed with how the girls challenged themselves physically, all girls did a minimum of 4km each with some doing 10 and 15km. They had house spirit in abundance and it made me really proud to see them all come together to achieve something as a house – what an impressive group of girls.”
Imi B, Head of House added, “The whole house had great spirit and enthusiasm throughout this amazing event. We loved raising money for such a great cause.”
