Congratulations to our Form 4 winners of the UKBC Biology Challenge 2023, whose achievements placed Oakham School in the top 5% of all entrants.
The Biology Challenge consisted of multiple-choice papers based on the both the school curriculum and wider biology topics. This year’s quiz was designed to stimulate curiosity for the natural world.
Over 43,000 pupils aged 13 to 15 from 621 schools worldwide took part in the Challenge.
Oakham School pupils achieved two Gold, six Silver and seven Bronze awards, as well as 22 Highly Commended and Commended certificates.
Well done to all the pupils that took part, and to the Biology Department for providing a well-resourced and vibrant learning environment to help equip our pupils for the Challenge!
