The rounds varied from Chemistry calculations, knowledge of acids, model making, smell tests and equipment memory recall.
Head of Chemistry, Joanne Griffiths, said, “Some rounds required a bit of reading to push their chemistry knowledge beyond the curriculum, and there was a real buzz of enjoyment and concentration in equal measure. Thank you to the Rugby School Chemistry department and Science Faculty for hosting and organising a great event.”
