Oakham School scuba divers have been enjoying perfecting their Open Water diving skills.
Pupils Alex, Amy, Francesca and Lena braved the chilly waters of Stoney Cove near Leicester over the last two weekends.
Alex and Amy are now fully qualified PADI Open Water Divers (with an additional dry suit speciality) and Francesca and Lena are well on their way to the qualification.
Tracey Roberts, course director at Dive Rutland, said: “I have been extremely impressed by excellent teamwork and buddy skills displayed by the students and the great awareness that they have shown, both in and out of the water – important skills that will stand them in good stead as they move forward with their diving. They deserve great praise for all their hard work.”
