Three Oakham School pupils have received offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge University.
Charlotte, who last term wowed audiences as Matron Mama Morton in the Main School Production of Chicago, has been offered a place to read French at Oxford. Gabe, who has also been offered a place at Oxford, is hoping to study Ancient History & Archaeology. Finally, Greg has been offered a place at Cambridge to study Land Economy.
Dr Darren Sheppard, who has helped the applicants throughout the process, said, “The successful candidates deserve great credit for the efforts they have made in the course of a demanding process – that said, the task now is to ensure that they meet the requirements of their respective offers! In addition, thanks are owed to the numerous staff at the School that have helped them along the way.”
