Oakham School’s annual Careers Fair saw more than 40 employers visit the School to speak to more than 400 pupils about the options available to them.
There were representatives from a range of professions including the law, marketing, retail, HR, interior design, television, journalism/media, digital and IT, estate management, finance, business, engineering, military, policing, and the medical profession,
Tim Silcock, Career and UCAS Co-ordinator said, “Our Careers Fair aims to help our pupils from Forms 5 to 7 make more informed choices about jobs and apprenticeships and is an excellent opportunity to interact with potential future employers. The event was hugely beneficial to our pupils, raising their aspirations and broadening their horizons. It was also a pleasure to receive such great comments from the visitors about our students’ engagement. Thank you to all the individuals and businesses involved.”
