Since the start of term, Oakham musicians have been enjoying the return of indoor live performances by treating small, socially-distanced audiences to a programme of weekly Music at Lunchtime concerts.
To date, these have celebrated the excellence and variety of Oakham’s musical programme, featuring spectacular drum kit playing, a memorable recital of violin Romances, an outstanding flute concert, and an impressive programme of Romantic piano music. Alongside the return of the majority of our ensemble and choral rehearsals each week, fortnightly Informal Concerts resumed on Monday 28 September, with two relaxed concerts featuring musicians of all ages enjoying the experience of performing to each other.
