Recent Torch Lecture speaker Nick Butter gave an inspirational talk to an excited group of Upper School Pupils.
Nick has completed more than 1,000 marathons, nearly 100 ultras and being the only person to have run a marathon in every country of the world during a 23 month expedition.
Alongside his clear athletic talents, Nick has raised nearly £2 million pounds for charity. His foundation, The 196 Foundation, helps one cause per year, covering any cause needing help.
Upper School pupils were taken through some of Nick’s trips, the work that goes into the preparation of these expeditions and both expected and unexpected things that occurred during his runs.
