Lower School News

The start of this spring term marked the opening of ‘1584,’ our new co-ed social and workspace. The drinks and sweet treats were loved by all Lower School pupils as they got their first taste of the newly renovated space.

Brooke Priory joined our Lower School girls for the Introduction to Netball Festival. There were lots of laughs and smiles as the girls enjoyed some fun games and drills with some new faces throughout the afternoon.

The French department brought the epiphany celebrations to Form 1 French classrooms. Our French assistants made Galettes de Roi (Kings’ Cake) and explained how France celebrates this festival as well as giving pupils a chance to sample the cakes at the same time.

 

Displayed in the Smallbone Library, the Lower School Art Exhibition highlighted the wealth of talent with an array of ideas and techniques on show. It was fantastic to see the creativity flowing and that this could be admired by the whole School.

The Ancaster girls loved their pamper evening house social. Face masks and a Chinese takeaway went down a treat!

Lower 1 and Form 1 enjoyed lots of games of pool and fish and chips at their social.
