Lower School News

It has been a fun-filled first half of the Summer Term in Lower School.

Since the sun has started to shine, we have seen Outback get lots of use. Football, rugby, cricket and Jenga have been enjoyed over many break and lunchtimes.

Lower 1 and Form 1 came together for a BBQ social. The year groups all came together enjoying even more time in the sun before heading inside PH to get some shade and a few games of pool to finish off a lovely Friday afternoon.

Lower 1 head to Lea Green for their residential. They all enjoyed some fun activities including paddle boarding and a rope course. Evenings were wrapped up by toasting marshmallows on a fire. A fantastic 3 days full of smiles.

Lower School pupils have the choice of many activities which are all thoroughly enjoyed. Archery with the Bowmen of Rutland and sailing on Rutland Water are two favourites. Whether learning new skills or practicing already loved activities,

Athletics and tennis have been the two favourite sports in Lower School this half-term. Interhouse tennis saw Sargants come away victorious in the boys and Ancaster in the girls tournaments. It was fun afternoon of friendly competition with the some great tennis skills.
