The Doctor’s Society will host its final meeting of the academic year virtually on Tuesday 23 June. The Headmaster, Henry Price, will address sixth formers from Oakham and Harington Schools who are considering competitive clinical courses at university. There will also be presentations on work experience, interview technique and admissions tests.
25 members of the society participated in a series of practice interviews last week; interviews were arranged with a series of simultaneous on-line, multi interviewer panels. The exercise was the largest practice interview session Dr. Nicoll has presided over in recent years, and he reports there was lots of encouraging feedback, with plenty of food for thought for our potential clinicians.
