Form 6 pupils RP trip to London

 

Form 6 Religion and Philosophy pupils Charlotte and Tabby speak about their recent trip to London, during which they explored the religion of Islam.

After arriving in London, we visited the British Museum and explored the Islamic Gallery in rooms 42 and 43. This covered lots of areas of our syllabus. We answered and investigated the Islamic culture and history using a set of questions.

 

We then visited London Central mosque and learnt about different Islamic traditions. We took a tour around the mosque and saw the different areas in which worship of Allah takes place. We observed the daily rituals Muslims take part in to express their faith and devotion to Allah.
