The Politics & International Relations department is delighted to announce that Form 6 pupil Georgina B has won the annual Politics essay competition with the question ‘Can the West still be labelled as an “upholder” of human rights?
The judges, all teachers from the Department, were impressed with her use of sources and evaluation of the title.
Head of Politics & International Relations, Laurence Ward, commented:
The essay competition promotes the development of writing skills and independent research which are so important to success in school, at university, in employment, and in life.
