Congratulations to the pupils in Houses Ancaster and Sargants who won the Lower School inter-house cross country run.
The event was held during the last week of term in the School grounds and the weather conditions were perfect.
Individually, in the boys races Charlie (F2), Jax (F1) and Max (L1) finished first. The girls races saw wins by Lottie (F2), Hattie(F1) and Georgia (L1).
Assistant Director of Sport – Boys Trefon Vandoros said, “It was a great ‘morning run’ with a buzz and enthusiasm from start to finish. Tremendous effort was demonstrated by both the runners and the supporters, and house spirit was clear to see. The results never reflect the efforts of those who give more than they can…finish in the middle and receive little praise for their efforts. Therefore I also cheer on those who did just that. A sincere thank you to all those who helped make it such an enjoyable event.”
