We are delighted to celebrate Pien’s recent success in being awarded a choral scholarship to King’s College London, where she hopes to study physics from next year. Pien is a key member of Oakham’s celebrated Chapel Choir and auditioned Chamber Choir, with whom she recently performed solos in Britten’s cantata, Rejoice in the Lamb, in the Brandenburg Choral Festival in London. She recently made her lunchtime recital debut at the end of the Spring Term, the day after achieving her ABRSM Grade 8 singing with distinction. She is due to perform a further recital at the end of the Summer Term on Wednesday 29 June, after she has completed her IB diploma exams.
