Congratulations to Form 2 pupil Alvina on being crowned U14 champion in the British Youth Go Competition, held at the County Bridge Club in Leicester. Alvina also finished 3rd overall in the competition.
Alvina started playing the strategic board game ‘Go’ when she was four and has previously competed in competitions in Hong Kong, where she learned how to play the game.
Housemistress of Ancaster, Alison Petit, said, “We are very proud of Alvina’s achievement and delighted to have a champion in our midst.”
