30 pupils from Round House and School House undertook the challenge of a night walk of the Hambleton peninsular last Friday. The conditions were perfect with a nearly full moon being overhead.
Proceeds from the walk will be donated to the Walk the Walk breast cancer charity and Movember.
Round House pupils and staff have fundraised for Walk the Walk throughout recent years such as Mrs Clarke, Round House Day Housemistress, who completed an impressive 100km walk last September supporting the same cause.
The 30 participating pupils came together to raise approximately £150 pounds which will be split between both charities.
Round House Day Housemistress, Sophie Clarke said “great house spirit was shown by all those participating and I am grateful to Round House, School House, Catering and Minibus driving colleagues for their support of this event.”
