Upper School Politics pupils recently attended the most recent in the Torch Lecture series. The series targets academic enrichment and learning in alternate surroundings than the classroom.
The Politics and IR department, along with pupils, were delighted to invite the Justice and Care pressure group to discuss Modern Slavery in the departments first Torch Lecture.
The impacts of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 within the UK and across the world were discussed.
It was a very engaging and active talk which gave real-life insight into the challenges of Modern Slavery in 2023, which was well received by the 50+ attending pupils.
