As well as pupils enjoying success at the highest level, the School is delighted to have achieved a 100% pass rate and to have also maintained its consistently high average point score, this year at 35.5.
Dr Leo Dudin, Deputy Head Academic, said: “Our pupils should feel very proud of these results, especially given the challenges they have faced over the last two years. They have maintained their momentum throughout, and achieved in line with pre-pandemic levels, which is a great tribute to their positivity and determination.”
Oakham’s IB Diploma pupils have, over more than two decades, consistently achieved excellent results.
Pupils who achieved more than 40 points this year included: Annie, Pien, Jasmine, Chiara and Jacob.
“I would like to congratulate all of our IB Diploma pupils on their hard work and their success particularly given the disrupted nature of the last couple of years,” concludes Headmaster Mr Henry Price.
“Their tenacity and good humour are admirable and they can be very proud of these results. Our IB pupils have been a key part of a fabulous year group and it was a pleasure to be able to celebrate with them and send them off in style last week. They leave with our very best wishes for the future.”
Oakhamians have secured places to continue their studies at top universities across the world, including medical school.
