Staff Enjoy Cyanotype Workshop
On Tuesday evening the Art department ran a cyanotype workshop for members of staff to help them learn a new creative process and to commit some time for their own wellbeing.
Director of Art Mrs Elinor Brass tells us more:-
“Cyanotype printing is a rather magical process which uses a photosensitive solution to coat a surface (usually paper or fabric) and creates a contact print through blocking UV light with objects, photographic images on acetate or drawings. It was a really busy workshop with different surfaces with which to experiment and images that could be collaged together to make interesting designs. Everybody involved left with a collection of beautiful work."
The next staff workshop is Christmas wreath making on the 3 December.
