Replace Form 6 Spanish students enjoy Spanish breakfast. Teacher of Spanish tells us more:
"The aim of this activity was to taste and explore different ingredients of the Spanish gastronomy. This is a very important aspect of the cultural context of the language and part of the A Level curriculum. The breakfast consisted of a grilled slice of bread, rubbed with fresh vine tomatoes and olive oil. On the top of this bread called ‘tostas’ the students tried Jamon Serrano, chorizo iberico and Manchego cheese. They also drank zumo de naranja and café con leche, a great start to a wintery day and the group certainly loved it!"
