The boys of Peterborough House were delighted to welcome Jess Dixon of Rainbows Children’s Hospice to the Lower School, where they presented her with a cheque for £1,000. This was the amount they had collectively raised in last month’s charity cycle ride around Rutland Water.
Housemaster of PH, Malcolm Fairweather, commented: “The boys had chosen to support local charity, Rainbows Children’s Hospice, for their bike ride and they were thrilled to have raised such a large sum. By seeing how much they can achieve when they work together will hopefully inspire the boys to devise more ways to support their local community.”
