Our Lower School pupils have been busy embracing the festive spirit, decorating their Houses and taking part in seasonal activities to celebrate the start of Advent.
Ancaster, Lincoln, Peterborough and Sargants Houses have been transformed into Winter Wonderlands, with Christmas trees and fairy lights galore. The girls in Lincoln House also invited a very special guest to turn on their Christmas tree lights and presented Mr Lashbrook with a flashing jumper and hat for him to wear this Christmas by way of thanks.
Meanwhile the boarders in Hodges spent Saturday afternoon making their own Christmas decorations, putting up the tree in the Hodges Joint Common Room and creating delicious designer gingerbread houses. On Sunday, after their Christingle Chapel Service, they continued the festive fun with a Christmas shopping expedition to Leicester.
The packed programme of Christmas festivities continues this week with a French and German Christmas Market for pupils in Form 2, followed by a traditional Christmas dinner for the entire Lower School on Thursday evening.
