All the boarders have returned from the holiday in high spirits sporting new clothes and having lovely new presents from Christmas.
At the weekend they took the time to relax, enjoyed catching up with each other and tried on different outfits. The boarders also headed to Peterborough and had a good time ice skating! There were all different standards, some skating a little tentatively, others were a bit tense but ready to have a go and Jessica and Erin skated like pros!
After burning off so many calories Mrs Foster, the Housemistress, took them on a bit of a treat to the OK Diner to enjoy milkshakes and a sneaky waffle. Great fun and great friendships. Also this week’s girls awarded the “Truly Great” title in Lincoln House are Eleanor, Megs, Georgia and Abigail who read in the Lower School Chapel on Thursday. They had been set this challenge by Mrs Foster because it is a way to be proactive and overcome nerves. It is also good practice should they ever need to read in a service, now or as an adult. Well done to the girls, who all managed it with the new microphones too!?
