Form 7 pupils studying for an IB Diploma in Visual Arts held a mock exhibition showing their fantastic key work to date in the Wheelhouse Gallery.
Director of Art Mrs Elinor Brass tells us more:-
“The practice of curating an exhibition is such a valuable experience, both as this part of the IB Diploma assessment but also because considering how your work is seen by the viewer is such an important part of art-making.
The pupils gained a huge amount from holding the show including getting to grips with how to organise the work, exploring different hanging methods and considering the exhibition space as a whole.
There is a lot of ambitious work that has been produced already, but the experience has presented the students with a great deal of confidence about the pieces on which they need to work and which new works to focus upon.”
