Girls in Ancaster House support the Samaritan's appeal

Lower School girls in Ancaster House have been busy filling old shoeboxes with presents for the Samaritan's appeal.

Rebecca Hurst, Teacher of Geography and Senior Tutor of Ancaster tells us more:-

“These boxes are filled with presents for children in other parts of the world who are less fortunate than Oakhamians. The girls had to decide whether they wanted to send their shoebox to a boy or a girl and then decide the age category too. They worked wonderfully in their House Families (which are made up of a combination of Lower 1, Form 1 and Form 2 girls) to put these very thoughtful gifts together. We will now deliver them to a drop off point and should be able to track them on their journey around the world.”
