CCF BTEC success!

Congratulations to 18 CCF cadets in Form 7 who have achieved a BTEC Diploma Level 2 in Teamwork and Personal Development. They were presented with their certificate by Mr Stephen Mills, Area Manager of CVQO (Cadet Vocational Qualification Organisation) on Monday 15th May.

In order to gain the qualification the cadets had to excel at teamwork and communication. They also had to complete a CVQO workbook and choose from options including improving health and fitness, citizenship, volunteering and personal development through adventurous activities.

Plt Officer Amanda Ball said, “We are incredibly proud of the cadets. They worked hard and showed a huge commitment to the course. The number of cadets being awarded the Diploma is considerable this year and we have the highest completion rate of the BTEC Diploma in the Eastern region, which is a great achievement. Also a huge thank you to Mr Stephen Mills for his fantastic support throughout the programme”.

These qualifications will enhance the cadets’ career prospects by giving them the skills, knowledge and understanding that are valuable to employers and will help set them apart from other applicants.
