Duty Supervisor - Sports Facilities

We are seeking the above to be responsible for ensuring the safety of all users of the Sports Centre, as well as the security of the building and associated facilities.  The post-holder will be required to supervise and manage the shift, implement and carry out cleaning duties and work with and understand the IT management system.  Responsibilities also include the pool plant, including regular inspections of its equipment, daily maintenance and chemical treatment awareness.  IT literate, with at least two years' experience in a similar role, you will have a current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, ideally a Supervisory Management NVQ Level 3 and be able to obtain a National Pool Plant Operator qualification within the first three months.  The role is 40 hours per week, all year, on a shift basis, including evenings and weekends.  For full details, please see the Job Description.  To apply, please send cover letter and application form (available on the right hand side of this page, or on request) by email (preferred) or post to Claire Betts, HR Manager, using the contact details on this page.  Closing date 12 noon on 6 September 2019.

 

 

Estates Maintenance Manager

Reporting to the Estates Manager, key responsibilities of this role include managing/giving technical assistance to all Estates Operatives and Contractors, predominantly mechanical and electrical, to maintain and develop site-wide services and carrying out condition surveys on buildings plant. A full list of key responsibilities can be found in the job description.

You will have proven management experience, both of buildings/facilities, as well as of skilled and semi-skilled staff. Knowledge of Health & Safety, COSHH and related compliance regulations is essential.

The role is 40 hours per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday. For full details, please see the Job Description.

We would like to hear from anyone interested in early morning or daytime cleaning roles at the School, on a temporary or permanent basis. Previous experience is an advantage, but not essential. Very early mornings are paid at an enhanced rate above the NLW.
