More Sports
Around 30 sports are available to Oakham pupils; each with dedicated and experienced coaches. There are opportunities for pupils of all standards, and talented individuals regularly compete at high levels, right up to national competition. If a pupil or group of pupils wish to pursue a sport not immediately available, the School does its utmost to satisfy that demand. Recent examples have included clay pigeon shooting, polo and eventing. Thanks to the initiative of a group of pupils, Oakham teams now compete at both the National School Polo and Eventing Championships.
We also have an extensive activities programme that includes an even wider range of sports such as Aerobics, Pilates, Canoeing, Climbing, Cycling, Eventing, Polo, Shooting, Clay Pigeon, Shooting and Sub-Aqua.
