Design and Technology

Oakham's Design & Technology Department is one of the most highly respected in the UK, thanks to its outstanding facilities, staff and, of course, the remarkable work that pupils create. Not many school Design Departments can boast winning both age categories of Young Engineers for Britain in the same year or the use of Pro-Engineer CAD software and a 3D Rapid Prototype Printer in a purpose built facility that is ready to meet the needs of the 21st Century.
