Annual Careers and Higher Education Lecture 2012
The annual Careers and Higher Education Lecture for Form 6 parents will be held in the Queen Elizabeth Theatre on Saturday 13 October at 9.30am. This year’s speaker is Sally Hyman, Survey Director at High Fliers. High Fliers Research Limited is an independent market research company that has been at the forefront of graduate recruitment research at the UK’s leading universities since 1994. It has now worked with more than 140 national and international employers to measure the impact of their recruitment activities on campus and help them understand their position in the graduate market place.
If you want to know about universities and employability, graduate vacancy levels, starting salaries and benchmark recruitment practices, High Fliers are the experts. Sally Hayman has worked for the organisation for over ten years, looking after the UK Graduate Careers Survey. Prior to that, she worked for one of the large accountancy firms where she was responsible for graduate recruitment in two business areas. Because of the broad interest in this area, Form 7 parents are also welcome to attend this year. http://www.highfliers.co.uk/
