For entry at 13+ into the Middle School

Pupils usually join the Middle School in Year 9 (at 13 years) but some places may be available in Year 10.

Common Entrance Candidates 

Candidates from prep schools sit the Common Entrance Examination at their school in June of the year of entry. The pass mark in the Common Entrance Examination is 55%.

Non Common Entrance Candidates

Those who have not followed the Common Entrance syllabus sit the School's own 13+ examination. This comprises papers in English, Mathematics, French and Science. Past entrance papers are not released but a detailed syllabus is available. Candidates are expected to perform at a level equivalent to 55% at Common Entrance.
