Scholarships and Bursaries

Oakham School is built upon the pursuit of excellence and we are determined that children with the potential to excel are able to join us, irrespective of their circumstances. Continuing our proud tradition of providing generous scholarships, we offer a range of financial support. We hope our scholarship and bursary schemes will enable you to consider Oakham for your children.

If you are considering entering your son or daughter for an Oakham Scholarship, please seek advice from your child's current School Head before speaking to our Registrar, who will be happy to offer guidance on the application process and types of award.

Bursaries

Parents who feel Oakham is beyond their means are invited to contact us about the financial support available through the School's bursary funding scheme. There are a number of bursaries available, including one especially for Rutland residents.
