Information Systems: User Information
Users have a personal logon account to the network domain. This provides a personal file storage area on the servers. There are also departmental and group based storage areas on the servers. Pupils have a default file storage quota of 200MB, which can be increased if necessary. Users personal and departmental data is also accessible over the Internet as a secured WebDAV share, for use at home and during the holidays.
All users of school computers have their own profile, with Microsoft Group Policy controlling the computer and user core configuration. This offers a good level of flexibility and personalisation without compromising the secure and relaible running of the computers.

email and the School Intranet
